Animal charity seeks a full-time hedgehog officer

An animal charity is seeking someone to “be the face of hedgehog conservation” with a salary of £24,000.

The Suffolk Wildlife Trust is advertising for a full-time hedgehog officer who will be required to make Ipswich “the most hedgehog-friendly town in Britain”.

The town has become a hedgehog hotspot, according to the trust, and now they are looking for an inspirational individual who will be the face of hedgehog conservation. The aim is to inspire streets of people to act together to create habitat links and remove the barriers to hedgehog movement between gardens.

The goal is to establish a network of feeding, nesting and hibernating habitat across the town. Reaching out to communities across the town, you will be the face of hedgehog conservation, leading hands-on community activities, training events and driving a proactive media campaign, to raise awareness of the needs of hedgehogs.

Now there's a prickly bit of work ...

(Well, _someone_ had to say it!)

Actually, would the bursar in this instance also be a hedge fund manager?

I've been half looking for a new job. If only Oxford needed one.
