The world’s largest sandcastle has failed to get itself recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records due to construction rules.
A group of sand artists led by Benno Linde spent weeks to turn tonnes of sand into a giant sandcastle in a park in Duisburg, Germany.
The sandcastle set a measurement record with a height of 14.15 metres, which is slightly higher than the previous structure with a height of 13.97 metres.

However, the sandcastle won't be enlisted in the Guinness Book as the sculpters had left pieces of wood within the structure.
