Bald eagle rescued after getting stuck in car grille

A Bald Eagle that became lodged in the grille of a car in Clay County, Florida, survived to tell the tale.





According to the Clay County Sheriff's Office the eagle flew in front of the car and became stuck in the grille.





Both the Sheriff's Office and Clay Fire Rescue personnel responded and rescued it from the grille.





Once freed, the eagle was turned over to the B.E.A.K.S Wildlife Sanctuary, where it is recuperating from its ordeal.

The bald eagle, that proud symbol of America, is normally a very intelligent animal. You'll note, however, that this one is from Florida.
