Drinkers who visit Leicestershire cash machines late at night to get money for ‘just one more drink’ may find their party bubble burst by sensible drinking messages.
A warning about fines for anti-social behaviour will be displayed on 14 Nationwide building society ATMs along with the message "Drinking could seriously affect your balance", which will appear on receipts.
"By placing these adverts on cash machines and the receipts that come from these, we are communicating with people before they get drunk and hope that they will take our messages on board."
