Enigmatic no more ... science brings Mona Lisa's voice to life

Her face is one of the most famous in the world - but lovers of Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece have never known what the Mona Lisa sounded like. Until now.

The world's leading acoustics expert has used state-of-the-art technology to recreate the voice of the woman with the famously enigmatic smile, some 500 years after her death.
