$250 facial uses pregnant cow stem cells

The $250 "Frozen In Time" facial offered at the newly opened Nabi MedSpa in upper Manhattan uses bovine embryonic stem cells to restore skin condition.

Owner Ivy Cho tells the New York Daily News her West Side day spa offers the ultra-exotic beauty treatment, touted to rejuvenate damaged skin, using stem cells from pregnant cows.

"People are now more aware of non-invasive, non-surgical procedures that can make them look years younger," said Cho. "And everybody's interested in stem cells because they have the best (rejuvenating) properties."

Not to be outdone, La Prairie at the Ritz Carlton Hotel offers well-heeled patrons a caviar firming facial for $270.
