The iguana that gets out and about

An antiques restorer and his wife have been telling of their daily walk on the wild side in their Essex town, alongside their pet iguana.



Robert Garnett, 34, and his wife Heidi, 30, regularly stroll through the streets of Manningtree with their four-foot six-inch giant green iguana at their heels.

Nine-year-old Rocky scampers alongside his owners on his lead every morning after breakfast.

"You don't often see four-foot six-inch iguanas going for a walk in Essex."
