Man stabbed after argument over arguments

A 54-year-old male was stabbed once in the stomach and once in the chest last night after an argument in an alley.

He appeared to be sitting and drinking with the suspect in the 300 block of W. Center a little before 7:25 p.m., said department spokeswoman Anne E. Schwartz.

Police reports indicate the two men started arguing about not having an argument.

The suspect, a 47-year-old male, then pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim. Police have arrested the suspect. The victims injuries are not life-threatening
