Pensioner died on fun trolley ride

A pensioner who whizzed around a supermarket on a trolley shouting "Wheeeee!" died after losing control and crashing in the car park outside.

Dennis Wiltshire, 80, a widower, of Neath, south Wales, was hit on the head by the speeding trolley after being thrown to the ground when it overturned.

He died in hospital the next day from a fractured skull and bleeding around the brain after slipping into a coma. A Swansea inquest heard that he had always acted much younger than his years.
