A porcupine called Twinkle is on the loose after escaping from a farm visitors' centre in Cumbria.
The three-feet long, three-year-old female, burrowed under a fence and escaped from Eden Ostrich World in Langwathby, near Penrith, on Saturday.
Cumbria Police have warned the public not to approach the animal because her detachable, poison-filled quills can become embedded in skin.
"She could make a real mess of someone's garden".
