Village sign 30 years late and going nowhere

For 30 years villagers had wanted a road sign to direct lorry drivers to a nearby bacon factory.

It belatedly went up this week. But there was no rejoicing among the residents of Elmswell, Suffolk.

The factory is closing down today.
