It's a Minor miracle

The best British car ever in the eyes of motorists is the Morris Minor.

The humble motor — last made in 1971 — beat flash rivals made by Aston Martin and Rolls-Royce in a poll.

The Minor was launched in 1948 and originally called the Mosquito. More than 1.6million were built.

Top ten British motors:
1. Morris Minor; 2. Aston Martin; 3. Rolls-Royce; 4. Fire engine; 5. Mini; 6. Black cab; 7. Double decker bus; 8. Robin Reliant; 9. Milk float; 10. Green Goddess fire engine.
