A golfer was left with a broken leg and dislocated ankle when he was the victim of a "ram-raid" by a sheep.
Postmaster and keen golfer Peter Woosey, 58, was knocked to the floor by the animal after chasing it out of his house in Whitworth in Lancashire.
The sheep had dodged past him into his home, which backs onto a post office, after he caught it in his garden.
Mr Woosey, who will be in plaster for eight weeks, said: "It brings a whole new meaning to the term 'ram-raid'."
