A woman was killed when she was thrown out of the car she was driving onto an embankment and was then hit by it.
It happened on the A13 at Grays, in Essex, early on Monday morning when the woman's Ford Ka left the road.
Essex Ambulance Service said the victim, believed to be aged in her 20s, suffered multiple injuries.
