Mailbox blasts, lewd photo lead to arrest

A Scottdale man is accused of blowing up a woman's mailbox and leaving a photograph of his genitalia at the scene of the crime.

Police suspect that James Edward Fulmer, 54, may be involved in as many as 16 similar cases.

State police Trooper James Monkelis said Fulmer was arrested on charges of stalking, harassment, criminal mischief and loitering and prowling at night. The charges stem from an incident in South Huntingdon Township in July 2005.

Monkelis said Fulmer allegedly blew up a woman's mailbox twice and left a photograph of his genitalia behind. Monkelis said Fulmer was seen driving away from the scene in one of those instances.
