A mother whose eight-year-old daughter died in hospital has claimed a nurse suggested that she should take the body home in her car.
Sarah Coombs's daughter Cerys was on a life support machine after an asthma attack and died when it was switched off five days later.
Miss Coombs, 23, said that 10 minutes after Cerys died, a nurse asked her: "Have you thought about how you are going to get her home? You can take her home in your car."
Miss Coombs, from Gloucester, said: "My daughter was not even cold and I was being told that we had to move her."
The body was collected later by a funeral director.
