80-year-old sentenced for trading crack for sex

An 80-year-old man was sentenced to six to 18 months in jail for giving crack cocaine to a prostitute for sex, followed by probation for a year.

"I'd like to say I'm sorry," Felix Cocco told Allegheny County Judge Jeffrey A. Manning on Monday. "I know I have to pay something for it."

Cocco's lawyer, Martha E. Bailor, argued that he should be spared jail because he suffers from an aortic aneurysm. He has vascular surgery scheduled in January.

Police arrested Cocco on Nov. 3 and again Feb. 24. In July, he pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine with intent to deliver.
