A rugby club in Devon is to hold a "virtual bonfire" on Guy Fawkes night amid concerns over the cost of meeting health and safety rules.
Ilfracombe Rugby Club is planning to project a previously-filmed bonfire onto a 22ft wide by 15ft high screen which will hang between the goal posts.
The move comes after youths threw left-over fireworks onto a nearby football club's bonfire four years ago.
The club's president believes it will be the UK's first virtual bonfire.
