The vacuum cleaner magnate said users of public WCs were sick of having to wipe hands on trousers after washing them.
And he promised the Dyson Airblade will end the need to do so.
Instead of using hot air, like conventional dryers, it pumps room-temperature air through a tiny slot at 400mph.
This apparently has a "windscreen wiper" effect and dries both hands in 10 seconds.
