Tracking devices for young trick or treaters

A fancy dress shop is offering to take some of the worry out of trick or treating this Halloween by fitting children's costumes with tracking devices.

The gadget allows parents to follow their offspring's every step as they trail around the neighbourhood touting for treats.

But such high-tech reassurance comes at a price: the satellite device and costume comes with a price tag of up to £500.

The idea was dreamed up by staff at costume company Angels Fancy Dress, based in Shaftesbury Avenue, central London.
