Job hunter David Rose was so determined to land his dream role he applied using a giant billboard outside the boss's office.
Earlier David, 29, sent the boss expensive wine, a job application in poetry and even a jack-in-the-box with his face on it.
But he was rejected three times by advertising firm Lawton. Finally David put up the 6ft x 5ft billboard — with a picture of him aged six and the message: “When I grow up I want to work at Lawton.”
The Southampton company caved in and took on David, of Fareham, Hants.
Company director Matt Lawton said: “I thought ‘I’m never gonna get rid of this guy.’ The only way out was to employ him!”
