Straight down the centre line

A salmon swims across the white line on a road as floods hit Washington.



The fish found an unusual route as record rainfall hit the US state.

And a house was seen drifting downstream after it was uprooted by roaring floodwater on the Skagit River near Mount Vernon. At least one person died in the storms.
