Thief throws two-year-old from car

A boy of two was twice pushed out of his father's car by a woman who was stealing it.

The thief only realised the toddler was in the back after speeding off with a teenage accomplice.

The car then halted and the boy was bundled out of his childseat. He was then seen trying to climb back in the car, only to be pushed out again.

The child was left crying on the pavement and was rescued by a woman from a nearby off-licence.

The stolen VW Bora was later spotted by police who stopped it with a stinger mat. A boy in his mid-teens and woman in her mid-20s ran off.
