Snake Manu

An Indian man tried to enter the Guinness Book of World Records by feeding two live grass snake into his nostrils and taking them out through his mouth.

C Manoharan,25, who is better known as Snake Manu, says he is particularly partial to baby cobras.

Last November, Manu claimed a place in the Guinness Book of Records in the 'most eaten worms in 30 seconds' category after he managed to swallow 200 wriggling earthworms each measuring at least 10cm.

He claims to have experimented with almost all varieties of snakes, including cobras, common kraits, sand boas and rat snakes.

He says his favourite is the cobra because of its ferocious agility.
