Animals at SeaWorld in San Diego, California, have started a New Year fitness programme.
They started off 2007 like many of their human counterparts, with a new commitment to diet and exercise.
Video.
Trainers at SeaWorld in California, have been encouraging their star walrus 'Seehook', to shift the bulge by doing push-ups and sit-ups with his trainer.
And the walrus isn't the only animal being put through his paces. 'Spinner', a six-year old border collie, is getting aerobic exercise by skipping with his trainer.
Meanwhile pigs at the zoo have changed their eating habits, dining on fresh fruit and watermelon, while dolphins and pilot whales have been weighing-in on a special scale to check their progress.
