Tony Blair International Airport

I am somewhat surprised, yet immensely honoured, that there is an airport in The West Of Scotland that bears my name. There are now two airports in The UK (the other, of course, in Liverpool) dedicated to men of peace (and sometimes of music.)

Although John and I travelled very different roads, our aims were the same ; to make the world a safer place for our children and to create harmony among those of different faiths.

Had we been swapped at birth, he would, I'm sure, have become as internationally successful and respected a statesman as myself and I would have brought my own deft touch to some of the greatest music of the last century.

My diplomatic skills would have kept the band together and we would have played our music of peace and love to other great world leaders.

The thought of being received at The Whitehouse with the greeting Yo Blair !, Yo Ko ! amuses me immensely. Truly a welcome that shows due deference and respect for ones' equals.

I sincerely hope that those travelling through Tony Blair International Airport take a little time to ponder on my considerable achievements and ask themselves what they can do to carry on my noble work.

I particularly like the security page.

Heh heh! Well done Beau Bo D’Or!
