Decorator Robert Burns has transformed his home into a work of art that makes it rather more Sistine Chapel than 1960s council terrace.
The walls are colourfully decorated with copies of works by 15th Century Italian artists, while a nativity scene in a trompe d'oeil gold frame is the main feature of the dining room.
The lounge ceiling is a mass of white fluffy clouds and blue sky, and cameos of the Virgin Mary and other religious scenes adorn the £70-a-week rented property.
