Banksy's graffiti masterpiece 'comes with free house'

Buyers of the latest piece of graffiti to go on the market by notorious street artist Banksy, may get more than they bargained for after it emerged his mural comes with a full-size house.

The 25-foot mural by the "guerilla artist" has just come up for auction but it comes with five-bed end of terrace house in his native Bristol.

The owners of the home love the mural but have decided that it's time to move on.

But they were horrified after all the prospective buyers for the house said they would remove Banksy's mural as soon as the contracts were exchanged.

The owners of 21 Milvart Street have now decided to sell the mural with the house thrown in as a freebie to ensure Banksy's colourful design is saved for posterity.

More here.

In other Banksy related news, council cleaners in Hackney jetwashed away two Banksy stencils.

The council is now drawing up a list of graffiti artwork in the borough that should not be removed.
