Mum, 39, needs an ID for pub

Baby-faced Bev Joseph gets turned away from clubs and pubs for being under age — and she’s nearly 40.

She now has to carry her passport to prove she’s over 18.

The mum of one snapped when bouncers stopped her at the Chicago Rock Cafe in Bury, Gtr Manchester.

39 years old

Divorcee Bev said: “I was fuming. I was in nightclubs before some of these doormen were born.

“I had to explain to them my daughter Emma is 18. I get stopped all the time and drives me crazy. It doesn’t matter what I do, even wearing extra make-up makes no difference.”

Childminder Bev, 39, who puts her looks down to a diet of mangoes, raw carrots and vegetable soup, added: “I do get a bit embarrassed at times.”
