Knicker yobs in street attack

A gang of male thugs wearing women's underwear attacked a man outside a pub.

The five thugs, in bras and knickers, set upon the 28-year-old victim as he waited for a taxi at 2am with his girlfriend.

He suffered a broken nose and two cracked ribs, and had to go to hospital.

Police, who are hunting the gang in Poole, Dorest, appealed for witnesses.

PC Peter Simpson said: "This was an unprovoked and cowardly attack.

"The group were quite distinctive. I expect many people saw them during the evening and I'm sure that some people will know who they are."
