A mother died in a car crash the day before her son's wedding - when a spider dropped from a sun visor.
Mum-of-one Brenda Sharpe, 67, terrified of the creatures, had just driven away from the final rehearsal at the church.
Her Peugeot 106 swerved across the road into the path of a bus on its way to pick up schoolchildren, an inquest at Lowestoft heard.
Brenda, of Knodishall, Suffolk, died but bride Kristen's mum Aileen Havice survived the September 29 crash.
Her son Roy, 29, and Kristen, 25, wanted to call off the wedding but his dad Alan, 68, insisted it went ahead. He said: "Brenda would have wanted it."
Recording a verdict of accidental death, Suffolk coroner Dr Peter Dean said: “Clearly what we have here is a terrible tragedy on what should have been the build-up to a happy occasion for both families. The circumstances are very sad indeed.”
