William Wordsworth’s most famous poem has been set to rap music in a bid to encourage youngsters to visit the Lake District.
Cumbria tourist chiefs have released a rap version of 'I Wandered Lonely As A Cloud' to mark the 200th anniversary of publication of the poem.
The new version, which features some variation on Wordsworth’s original words, is accompanied by a pop video featuring the Lake District's red squirrel mascot MC Nuts and shot on the banks of Lake Ullswater.
A Cumbria Tourism spokesman said: “Wordsworth’s Daffodils poem has remained unchanged for 200 years and to keep it alive for another two centuries we wanted to engage the YouTube generation who want modern music and amusing video footage on the web.
