A biker was clocked by a radar trap at 170mph - and avoided police because he was travelling so fast.
Police didn't even have time to take down his registration number as he roared past their handheld speed gun.
All they saw was a flash of yellow on his bike. They also think he was wearing a blue jacket.
Now they are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the demon rider on the A47 at Terrington St John in Norfolk on Saturday afternoon.
The fastest convicted speeder was Daniel Nicks, 34, who was caught doing 175mph on a Honda bike in Herts in 2000 after filming himself. He was jailed for six weeks and banned for two years.
