Drugs workers in Aberdeen have called for public money to be used to supply free tights to prostitutes.
The garments, along with gloves, should be provided to keep women warm during winter, according to Drugs Action.
The idea is part of a raft of proposals on how Aberdeen City Council should spend £200,000 of Scottish Executive funding for tackling prostitution.
But others said the money would be better spent trying to get the women off the streets.
