A man who spent 10 years stalking an oil worker in Aberdeen has walked free from court.
David Leverett, 57, turned up in parks and in the city where his victim, Calum Davidson, went running.
Aberdeen Sheriff Court heard that he became so fixated with the 37-year-old that he handed him a love letter.
The court heard he had kept a photograph of his victim, cut out from a local newspaper.
Representing himself in court, Leverett had previously said he "watched" his victim for a period of 10 years.
Sheriff Jeremy Gilchrist found Leverett guilty of a breach of the peace in March last year but admonished him because he was a first time offender.
