An aspiring soldier was rejected from joining the Army - because a curry once made him sick.
Stephen Hudson, of Valley, Anglesey, Wales, is desperate to join the Army and is ready to fight for his country.
But Army chiefs have refused his entry at the first hurdle because the 21-year-old once suffered an allergic reaction to a curry.
He last night pleaded to be allowed to join, claiming: “It’s not like I’m going to be fighting a curry.”
“It must have something to do with ration packs – that is the only reason I can think of. But it’s really frustrating.”
Stephen is now looking to retrain in a skilled trade such as plumbing.
