A giant sheep on the side of a busy motorway will be removed after safety fears were raised.
The banner, which covers about half an acre, was staked to a hillside on Wednesday between junctions eight and nine of the M3 at Basingstoke.
It is part of a campaign to promote sales of English lamb in response to the foot-and-mouth outbreak.
Police had asked the Highways Agency to investigate the sheep because of fears it would distract motorists.
