Since it was created by employees at photo-sharing website Flickr in March this year, Faceball has rapidly become one of the most popular workplace ball/face activites around – especially in Britain. Allegedly.
Originally codified by Flickr employees Dunstan Orchard and John Allspaw, largely as an attempt to find something to do with the hundreds of pink and blue beachballs they had lying around the office, Faceball is a simple game of propelling balls at your opponents' face.
One key feature of Faceball is the importance of photographing the faces of the competitors at the moments just before, during, and after impact.
The official Faceball website is here and there's an introductory video here.
