'Fillings to blame for murders'

A man accused of murdering his wife and stepson blamed his teeth, a court heard.

Janos Rozsavolgyi, 53, told a jury toxic mercury in his fillings had leaked out, damaged his brain and caused mood swings.

He said he had visited a dentist in the 1980s and "through fraud" had 22g of mercury-based fillings.

He added: "After a few years they started to break down and I started getting kidney pains.

"There was something badly wrong but I couldn't put my finger on it."

Rozsavolgyi, of Aylesbury, Bucks, drove to Luton police station, Beds, in June last year and told officers he had killed his ex-wife Patricia, 64, and her son Anthony Parsons, 40. He denies murder. The case at Reading crown court continues.
