Serial surrogate mum set for world record with 12 babies

A British woman “addicted” to pregnancy is to become the world’s most prolific surrogate mum with twelve babies.

Carole Horlock, 40, who has two daughters of her own, has already given birth to nine children for other parents.

But she will set a world record when she has triplets due in April.

Carole, who lives in Mirambeau, northern France, is carrying the babies for a Greek couple who were recommended to her by pals.

It is illegal in Britain to charge for a surrogate baby, but mums can earn expenses of about £15,000.

Carole refused to say how much she makes, but claimed: “I don’t do this for money.”
