Ranting Martin Solomon was given an anti-social behaviour order banning him from yelling abusive and racist comments at his TV.
Neighbours of Solomon, 61, endured overhearing his angry and drunken outbursts for nearly two years.
The family complained that his language was insulting and racist, magistrates heard.
The Asbo lasts two years and bans Solomon from using threatening or insulting language in his semi-detached home in Stroud, Gloucs.
Larissa Lowe, prosecuting for Stroud District Council, said: “He engaged in shouting and making racist remarks at his television. “He lives in a semi-detached house and it greatly distressed the neighbours, who have one young daughter and the wife is pregnant again.”
Solomon admitted the offences and was ordered to pay £125 prosecution costs.
