Racism watchdog's complaint over store mannequins

An anti-racism watchdog group is calling for an Exeter fashion store to drop its controversial window display.

The plea from the Devon-based Rural Racism Project is directed at the display in the window of the All Saints clothes store in Princesshay.

It shows eight black, headless mannequins hanging from chains with their feet a few inches off the floor.

The display, which has already come under fire for hurting the sensibilities of those who have lost loved ones through hanging, is now being attacked for its racist overtones.
