Rolls-Royce owner gets unlucky brake

A classic car fan crashed his Rolls- Royce while rolling it down a drive because he did not realise the brakes only worked fully when the engine was running.



David Bull hoped to park his Silver Spirit without starting it up but it ploughed through a wall and into his Peugeot, which was written off.

Amazingly, his beloved 23-year-old Rolls suffered only a broken tail light in the accident during his holiday in France.



Mr Bull, of Calderdale in West Yorkshire, said: 'I got a few funny texts from my mates afterwards.'
