Australians, their cars and torches (flashlights)

17-year-old Christian Stelling, who was unregistered and uninsured, used a hand-held torch to light up the way as he drove 45km from Seaforth to Beaconsfield because he and a mate were hungry and tired and wanted to go home.

While another motorist has been caught driving at night in the Northern Territory outback with a torch attached to his bonnet because his headlights were broken. The 25-year-old driver was also found to be more than three times over the legal limit and there were two females and a baby in the car.
