When Louise Davies painted her garden wall, picket fence and front door bright pink she thought she was just brightening up her street.
But her efforts backfired when she threatened a neighbour who complained. Louise Davies – nicknamed 'the real-life Vicky Pollard' after the Little Britain character – ended up being fined for threatening behaviour.
The 28-year-old flew into a rage, threatening to smash the windows and wreck the car of a neighbour who warned she would report her to the council if she continued to use the 'putrid pink colour'.
Davies, of Plymouth, was given a one-year conditional discharge and told by the town's magistrates to pay £60 after pleading guilty.
