Runaway kangaroo bounces through city

A kangaroo showed he was really good at hopping it when he bounced through an Australian city - doing everything possible to escape being captured.

The runaway roo knocked over a little boy and injured a policeman - ripping his shirt - as he leapt through the streets of Melbourne.



But wildlife rescue officers helped by the police pressed on with their efforts to catch the creature.

Eventually, they managed to overpower it and release him into the wild.
