Woman, 55, had sex with man of 22 in city centre

She didn’t care where she was, who was watching, or what time of day it was.

Drunken Jennifer Wade stunned onlookers when she indulged in an afternoon outdoor sex session with a man half her age.

Appearing at Newcastle Magistrates’ Court, Wade, of Ray Croft House, Westgate Road, Newcastle, pleaded guilty to outraging public decency.



The court heard how the randy 55-year-old got frisky with a 22-year-old man in Charlotte Square, Newcastle, next to a public footpath.

Julia Bell, prosecuting, said: “A witness on Charlotte Square saw Miss Wade and the co-defendant openly having sex. They called police who found them in various stages of undress. The area is just three feet away from a public footpath and in full view of the public. The witness said he was shocked and distressed after seeing these two people having sex in daylight.”

Wade originally denied the offence, but changed her plea at the last minute. Magistrates sentenced her to a 12-month community order.
