An Australian teenager has managed to tame one of the world's most feared creatures - the alligator.
Stewart Parker has built a loving bond with Nelson, a three-metre long, 19-year old alligator at Ballarat Wildlife Park in Victoria, Australia.
The pair grew up together in the park owned by Stewart's father and have been best friends ever since.
Most would shy away from getting into a pool with such a reptile, but Stewart says Nelson is anything but ferocious.
As he hand-fed Nelson in the pool, he said: "He's not really trying to get me, he's just asking for food I guess. An alligator's way of asking for food."
Nelson is fed a diet of mice, chicken and rabbits.
