A driving instructor is breathalysing his students in a bid to make the roads safer.
Malcolm Spencer, who runs Derby Driving School, has bought eight portable breathalysers which he will hand out to his instructors.
From the end of next week all his students will be asked to take the test before a lesson. If they refuse or test positive, the lesson will not continue.
Mr Spencer said he decided to buy the breath-test kits to make his students aware of the dangers of drink-driving.
