A panicked moment for some New Jersey parents when they mistakenly left their 6-month-old infant on the platform of the New Brunswick train station.
New Brunswick police say the parents were hauling several pieces of luggage, and each thought the other was carrying the child, when they boarded an NJ Transit train at about 6:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Instead, the infant was still in a stroller on the train platform.
Police say the parents soon realized the mistake. They alerted the train conductor, who called police.
The father exited at the next train stop, and took a cab back to New Brunswick to retrieve the baby, who was unharmed.
Police didn't file any charges against the parents.
